hmm, with you guys entering it's tempting me to do the same, although I am supposed to do car 99...

What about running totally unequipped? no driving lights no auxillary odos, just the driver and navvie to keep you on time(ish)

I've been wanting to do something like that for a long time, would keep the event a little more open and the speeds harder to zero

Reminds me of Buffums winter event in the U.S. - used to be you had a choice - you could either run studded tires or lights, but not both.
