Lost at the rallycross
01/23/11 at 18:40:03

There probably isn't much of a chance, but did anyone happen to find a lapel pin from the 1975 Tall Pines? I had it pinned to my camera strap and unhooked itself. Really disappointed I lost it since I had it for over 35 years, maybe it will turn up a summer rallycross!

If it wasn't found, maybe several hundreds of years from now rally  historians would be digging up the area known as the "Goltan Stage"
knowing it was first used in 2008 but discovering something from 1975.
History books would have to be re-written!

Ross, please let me know who found it so I can thank them and I'll get it from you the next time I see you,

Ross, has one of the young guys came to you with: "Mr. Wood, I think you might have lost something here when you drove here in 1975 Tall Pines."?  Grin

^^^ A for you, younger readers of this post, there really was a radio network in 1975 (a part of NORAD system, but still a network). Wink  Grin

Tom,

I went back into RX HQ building just before heading home. Everyone had left except for James, Stephanie (James' lovely lady) and Lois, the lady who runs the Fish & Game Club. I think someone had brought it to James. Maybe he can explain further.
