Places to Stay in Maniwaki Que.

My wife and I are contemplating a couple of days at Mont St. Marie skiing with the kids over March Break.

**Note to Organizers** - rally people will have economic spinoff at other times of the year too! Wink

Any recommendations on where to stay? Here are my needs:

- Cheap
- Decent - does not to be the Waldorf Astoria, but I am travelling with my wife and kids.
- Something for the kids to do (indoor pool, etc.) would be a bonus.

I recently stayed in Huntsville, On for $98 per night and it had all of the above (Best Western), but I am struggling to find anything in the Ottawa/Maniwaki area for less than $200 per night.

Reply #1 - 03/06/11 at 18:13:35 I'm not 100% sure but I think the only hotel in Maniwaki that has a pool is the Chateau Logue. Side Note: The pool also has water slide!!! http://www.chateaulogue.com/en/accueil.php While you are at Mont St. Marie chances are you will see Big Ian say hi!

Reply #3 - 03/07/11 at 08:05:53 About 10 minutes up the highway from Maniwaki is the Panneau 105 - Perce Neige workers stay there. It is basic but very inexpensive. Even less expensive is Black Rollway, but that is 45 minutes into the woods.
