I know that many people will be heading back to/through Toronto, so I thought I'd give you a heads-up: the 401 is going to be closed through Oshawa from midnight Saturday night to 8:00 am Sunday morning for the removal of a rail bridge.

If you stay late at the banquet, think about taking an alternate route (Highway 7?) to avoid the traffic mess.

Edit: looking at the MTO site, it looks like there are lane closures in advance of the full closure at midnight:

- 7:00 pm: 1 lane and shoulder closed
- 11:00 pm: 2 lanes and shoulder closed
- 12:00 am: full closure
