I just wanted to put up an initial post about the upcoming Nov 5th Open Road Motorsports ORRC rally. The route has been measured and I am working on the instructions. We will use the same start/finish in Perth, Ontario as in previous years and details will soon be posted. It will be about 180 km in length, almost all gravel.

I just wanted to mention a couple of changes from previous events.

1) We will be starting later in the day, car zero at about 2:30-ish, finish at about 6:00-6:30. The restaurant closes at 8:00 pm and we have to be out of there by then, but I wanted to run the last couple of sections in darkness.

2) We are deviating from the simple distance-to-turns or Tulips of previous years. Navigators will have to work a little more for their pay than in the past. I am not planning on a brain buster and never attempt to get anyone lost, but you'll have to pay attention.
