I was poking around in the garage this evening and came up with this:



I am going to try to make a fender liner out of a $3.59 Crazy Carpet. My kids don't use it anyway!  

We have used Krazy Carpets for a number of 'odd' uses, including mud flaps.  I bought a plastic welder @ Harbor Freight Tools in the States a few years ago.  It hooks up to a compressor at about 4-7 PSI and is basically a hot air tool that can be used for welding and shaping the plastic.
