Nice idea but only for vehicle with bigger clearance. I dont this this would work on passenger cars.

I saw a set on a truck that came into work and I thoght what the heck are those for. We kind of thought thats what they were for and now I know.

I wonder what ever happened to Snow Grips which were used by almost every rally team in the mid 70's? They took about 30 seconds to clamp over your wheels and were easy to store in the car. I tried to find a photo of them but couldn't
