Notice of Special General Meeting: Dec 6th @ 7:00pm

Notice is hereby given that there will be held a Special General Meeting of the Members to the Maple Leaf Rally Club, this will be convened at Alice Fazooli's restaurant, 20 Collosus Drive in Vaughan, Ontario, on Thursday, 6th December 2012 at 7:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, for the following purpose:

To approve and adopt the following:
1.    We are proposing to change the time frame for the election of the club directors from the "before the December 31st of the given year" to "45 days after the fiscal year end".  This essentially allows for elections at the AGM along with the presentation of the final books for the year.

Last Paragraph reads:

Provided that, not later than twenty days after the end of each fiscal year of the Corporation December thirty-first of each year, a special general meeting will be held at which the election of the director or directors for the year to be commenced will be held in accordance with By-Law #5.

Proposed Change:

Provided that, not later than twenty days after the end of each fiscal year of the Corporation December thirty-first of each year, forty five days after the end of each fiscal year of the Corporation a special general meeting will be held at which the election of the director or directors for the year to be commenced will be held in accordance with By-Law #5.

2.    To elect Officers and Directors for 2 year term starting immediately following the SGM;  President, Secretary

3.    To transact such further business, or any other business, as may properly come before the meeting, or any adjournment or adjournments thereof.

If you cannot attend in person, you may appoint another member-in-good-standing to act for you by proxy.  To be valid, proxies must be deposited with the Club Secretary before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 6th December 2012. This may be done electronically or via mail.

MLRC and Can-Jam Rallycross Awards Dinner

The MLRC Awards Dinner will be held on this event, please come out and support you fellow winning club members. Free Dinner will be given you any one that does win, and will be notified by me. These also include the 2012 Can-Jam Rallycross Championship awards.
