York River giving Bancroft grief
04/20/13 at 17:30:47

The mayor had this to say to residents.

'Please be advised that we are expecting the river to continue to rise until Monday at least. You should take appropriate action to safe guard your business, property and chattels.'

-Mayor Bernice Jenkins – Town of Bancroft

For those of you on facebook you can check out some of the pictures on the Moose FM facebook page here (http://www.facebook.com/MooseFMBancroft) I'm sure the weather network and other places on the wb will have information.

Just thought  folks would like to know about whats happening in the town that supports us in November.

I had forgotten about the Rally-x series not to mention there's probably more then I'll ever know that happens behind the scenes.

Sounds like things aren't subsiding yet. Tim's drive through was closed and the bridge by the LCBO has water touching the underside of it. Out towards South Baptiste Lake Rd has some pretty strong looking flows as well.
